1990: The year we began operating our company
Throughout the 1990s, communities from around the globe sought the finest and most authentic rice that was organically curated, aromatic, affordable, easy to digest, and matured to impart a particular aromatic flavour. Consequently, we introduced the world to rice varieties of the finest quality. We were the first company to achieve this, a fact of which we are quite proud.
Year 2005
Curry was now a national favourite, inspiring people to prepare authentic food at home, from biryani to dal, korma to vindaloo, and khichdi to pilaf. We capitalised on the rising popularity of curry and high-quality rice to strengthen our position as the market leader.
Year 2010
We broadened our sphere of influence, established packaging facilities and services, and planted rice in South and Southeast Asia, as well as South America, Africa, and the United States.
We place greater emphasis on quality control and excellent customer service and ship a wide range of tasty rice and grains around the globe.
Year 2015
We are honoured to be the focal point of authentic dishes in over 20 countries around the world and are committed to providing quality products to rice enthusiasts. Over the years, customers have chosen our brand because it's stable and the quality of our grains is guaranteed.
Year 2020
At the outset of the pandemic, we partnered with numerous government and privately- led organisations. We served 10,000,000 meals every month to underprivileged people, with a particular emphasis on slum dwellers, migratory populations, and daily wagers around the world.
2022 Onwards: Feeding the World
32 years of developing, promoting, and promising high-quality rice! We have expanded into retail facilities and will continue to encourage people to enjoy flavorful rice dishes for years to come. In addition, our CSR arm, the Anannke Foundation, donates one rice bag for each bag sold.
Why are we different?
We expand our manufacturing facilities and introduce, for the first time in the world, precisely curated variants of steamed rice, 2 Minute Rice, Basmati Rice, Expectant Moms' Rice, Diabetic-Friendly Rice, Super Grains Rice, and Kids' Rice, among others.
Our rice varieties are rich in over 15 critical vitamins and minerals, including folic acid, B vitamins, potassium, magnesium, selenium, fibre, iron, and zinc, all of which are required for the healthy functioning of the mind and body. Saba Rice’s adventure, commitment, and promise continue beyond this point. As we strive to be able to feed as many people as possible, we continue to bring innovation and creativity to your recipes, allowing you to appreciate a flavorful world.
